Scitec Instruments supplies a range of high quality synthetic
crystals. The use of high quality starting materials for crystal growth, whole
boule interferometry, and precise measurement of bulk losses using transmission
spectroscopy enures that each crystal will perform to customer specifications.
Each rod is inspected with a 532nm laser to verify it is free of bubbles and
inclusions. Advanced growing and manufacturing technology and state-of-the-art
fabrication and coating processes result in a consistently reliable finished
product. Our product range offers a wide variety of finished laser rods and
slabs with high optical homogeneity, consistent performance and high processing
accuracy suitable for R&D and OEM requirements.

Non- linear Crystals
|
NEW Nonlinear optical (NLO) crystals are used
in frequency conversion for lasers. We supply a complete line of NLO crystals
including BBO, KTP, KNbO3, KDP & DKDP and LiNbO3
crystals. |
|
Laser Crystals
|
NEW Laser crystals are used to generate laser
radiations. Laser crystals supplied by Scitec Instruments include
Nd:YVO4, Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Er:YAG, Cr4+:YAG, Yb:YAG,
Ti:Sapphire and Cr:Mg2SiO4, etc. We also provide complete
kits of crystals and optics for diode pumped solid state lasers. |
|
EO & AO Crystals
|
NEW Electro Optic (EO) Crystals: When an
electric field is applied to an EO crystal, the refractive index of the crystal
will change linearly with the electric field. Acousto-Optic (AO) Crystals: When
a piezoelectric transducer is bonded to an AO crystal, it will generate an
acoustic travelling wave or standing wave in the medium. |
|
Optical Crystals
|
NEW Optical crystals and glass, such as
quartz, YVO4, Calcite, a-BBO, LiNbO3, undoped YAG,
Sapphire, CaF2, MgF2, BK7, etc are widely used in IR and
UV optics. We supply high transparency and low loss optical windows, prisms,
lenses, achromatic lenses and parallel planes in these optical
materials. |
