Aspheric Lenses
Precision molded glass aspheric lenses are a practical compromise
between a multi-element lens and a molded plastic lens. A molded glass aspheric
lens has two advantages over a multi-element lens; first, the aspheric design
reduces spherical aberration and coma in a single element; and second, with
fewer optical surfaces required, overall light transmission is higher.
High quality (precision) lenses at low price |
Custom molded & machined glass aspheres available
Precision molded aspheres are the ideal solution when medium
to large volumes of the same lens are needed to support your product |
Standard BBAR coating included: 650-1064nm |
Lenses can be supplied in metal housings upon request
Lenses can be edged to a smaller diameter |
