Scitec Instruments Polska offers a selection of Sunlight readable display solutions through two different technologies.
Traditional HIGH BRIGHT (HB) sunlight readable solutions which use additonal backlighting to enhance the image when in sunlight. Typical brightness levels for HB displays are from 700cd/m2 ~ 1500cd/m2.
New TRANSFLECTIVE (TR) technology allows conventional TFT screens to be re-engineered, without the need for additional backlights. They use high levels of ambient light to increase the brighntess level of the TFT via Transflective polarizers. This effectively means the brighter the Sun the brighter the image.
Sunlight readable displays are used in a wide range of applications including Digital Signage, Industrial, Retail, Kiosks. Displays are available in Open Frame format with options for IP rating or a 5mm Front bezel along with completely housed Chassis Monitor.
