The RM9-PD radiometer system is a sensor and optical chopper system for measuring the power of very low level CW or quasi CW sources. The RM9-PD sensor has a photodiode element. The sensor’s The sensor’s power range is from 300fW (femtowatt) to 300nW (nanowatt). It has an 8mm aperture and covers the spectral range from 0.2µm to 1.1µm. The system comes with the RMC1 chopper that is placed between the source and the RM9-PD sensor.
